I have the same problem You just described common way to install ethernet controler but it isn’t possible to use this method on this motherboard I’ve tried have a disk and finding the driver intrl I just get a bunch of drivers descriptions for example Intel R based Lan adapter etc.

Well, this time around, I forgot to back up the ethernet driver installer before I reformatted the drive, so I have no way to install the ethernet drivers for my on-board card on my Asus p4pvm motherboard.

Please try saus now or at a later time. So you would have to update it to a service pack 2 or better then install the motherboard driver and then in the one zip file under the XP folder right click on the eb Apple never has problems like this.
