All power management and anything else that looked like it might put the card to sleep is already disabled. No micro-freezes No Windows Wireless Utility in the system tray fighting it out with the Trendnet utility. Sounds like a power management issue. Very happy with tew 423pi xp product! However, during my intense transfers, the signal strength went only to “very good” once in a while from excellent without affecting the speed of 54Mbps. The signal fluctuates from low, good, very low, etc.

I have the exact same tew 423pi xp. This product worked fine, there is nothing more I could ask for! I dread thinking that’s what I’ll have to do as it wasn’t a simple driver update if I remember correctly.

I’ve had a similar problem with a video card in the past and had to download an updated bios for the motherboard, flash the bios, and that fixed it.

Xl gets a very strong signal. Then find the Autorun tew 423pi xp file, and double click on it.

I installed the card on a zp slot obviously, downloaded the driver from the website which is the version b1. Have you figured out what the problem was with tew 423pi xp wireless card? The first one or two sites, I selected were dead links. I tried reinstalling the driver but nothing.
